About

AfroBloggers is a virtual platform dedicated to promoting African bloggers . Bloggers are important, because their stories, often compiled from lived experiences represent some of the unbiased information about our societies, feelings and struggles. It is not only necessary that we encourage stories to be to told but in the same vein we must offer platforms where the stories can be heard ,discussed and built upon freely.

We aim to :

  • Inspire – established bloggers, newbies, and blogging aspirants to create and share value adding content. We do so by starting conversations and sharing what other bloggers are doing
  • Promote – the work of all African bloggers by sharing their content on various media platforms so that it reaches a wider audience.
  • Connect – all African creatives through providing a community platform where people share ideas and discuss on issues of resonance, whilst also getting exposed to various opportunities.
  • Educate through sharing blogging tutorials, tips and information that may help anyone who wants or is already undertaking blogging.

We love to see fellow Africans prosper and we believe that this platform will connect people with greater opportunities.

A man who calls his kinsmen to a feast does not do so to save them from starving. They all have food in their own homes. When we gather together in the moonlit village ground it is not because of the moon. Every man can see it in his own compound. We come together because it is good for kinsmen to do so.
